The whole project is based on light colors. Key areas are highlighted by using contrasting colors. The open kitchen and dining room are separated by an island. Stone material with an ink wash appearance is selected to horizontally extend the visual effect and amplify the dining area in a subdued manner. The irregular veins of the island create an interesting contrast with the orderly titanium plated cup rack above the island and the television on the wall across from it. The main wall behind the sofa features hand-carved leather symbols which depict beautiful flowers, birds, and trees, and comprise the grand scene that one sees upon entering the communal area from the entrance, granting the entire wall beauty that is on par with installation art.
